My final Stay at The Cromwell Las Vegas came weeks before Caesars Entertianment shared that the mid-Strip boutique property will transition to a Vanderpump property with work starting this summer and concluding in 2026. That was welcome news, as I found my Luxury Room at Cromwell to be in rough shape from a maintenance perspective, although the decor strategy is on point. The Cromwell has held a special place in my heart since my wife and I frequented the property when it was Bill's Gamblin' Hall. Although The Cromwell was decidedly nicer than Bill's, we still loved the vibe and remain drawn to it. I booked a Luxury Room on a comp, which is a step up from their standard Classic Room. The main difference is that the Luxury Room offers a Strip view, while the Classic Room offers little scenery. The hotel hallways at The Cromwell are among the more aesthetically pleasing in Las Vegas, as there are messages written on the carpet in English & French, and the lighting extending down the hallway is a fun visual. The room itself was dark, leathery, and felt luxurious from a distance. Unique features in Cromwell's Luxury Room included a working radio, a "movie star" powder station, and a shower that comes equipped with a 2-way mirror (beware!). Ultimately, I really like the design and decor of Cromwell's rooms... but the condition of my room was disappointing. Be sure to leave your thoughts on my Cromwell Las Vegas review in the comments!
