Brettski and Bluff stepped into the glimmering casino, the neon lights casting a glow on their eager faces. With $3000 in their pockets and a shared love for games of chance, they were ready for an unforgettable night. The air hummed with excitement, as people bustled around, clinking glasses and shouting out winning numbers. They exchanged a quick nod, silently agreeing to take on every game they could find. Their first stop: Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em. Brettski, calm and collected, eyed the dealer as Bluff placed their first bet. The cards came, and Brettski’s eyes widened—he had a full house. Bluff, however, was all-in with a pair of eights. As the final card turned over, Bluff’s eights held strong, and they doubled their stack. They high-fived, adrenaline pumping, before moving on to Three Card Poker. At the next table, they quickly learned the odds were against them. Brettski’s luck soured, and Bluff only managed to win a few rounds. Undeterred, they moved to Baccarat, their eyes glued to the flashy display of chips being shuffled. It was neck and neck for a while, but a few lucky hands saw them regain some of their losses. “Let’s hit the blackjack tables!” Bluff said, grinning. The cards seemed to favor them briefly, but a misstep in the final round cost them a chunk of their winnings. With $1500 left, they turned to the slot machines, their fingers restless on the buttons. Spin after spin, they barely broke even. But the roulette wheel promised something more. A hundred-dollar bet placed on black, the wheel spun, and for a moment, time seemed to slow… The ball rattled, then clicked. Was it black? Red? Neither knew.
