Say good by to Bally’s and hello to Old Benny Binion himself. Yes Caesars Entertainment has announced that they’ll be rebranding the Bally’s Las Vegas into an old Benny Binion Brand, the Horseshoe. You may be familiar with the Horseshoe brand if you’re a downtown Las Vegas Veteran. They’re the team behind Binion’s Las Vegas Downtown, originally known as Binion’s Horseshoe and Hotel Apache. We knew that the Bally’s brand, having been sold, likely wasn’t going to stick around with Caesars Forever, so seeing a Downtown Classic hit the strip for the first time is refreshing. I doubt that they’ll keep the Binion’s low limits and low rates, but the brand recognition could very well revitalize a casino with a slipping public image.
